What is governing formula for Options Pricing?

Black–Scholes–Merton Framework with Dividends

1. Option Pricing Formulas (Continuous Dividend Yield)

CALL Option Price

C = S e^(−qT) N(d) − K e^(−rT) N(d)

PUT Option Price

P = K e^(−rT) N(−d) − S e^(−qT) N(−d)

2. Parameter Definitions

d = [ ln(S/K) + ( r − q + σ²/2 ) T ] / ( σ √T )

d = d − σ √T

S : Current underlying asset price

K : Option strike price

T : Time to maturity (years)

r : Continuously compounded risk-free interest rate

q : Continuously compounded dividend yield
